Research Interests

My scientific interests involve the phenomenology of elementary particles. In particular I am interested in the strong interactions, from the point of view of effective field theories. My rearch is mainly focussed in jet physics at lepton and hadron colliders, aiming to precision determinations of fundamental constants such as the strong coupling constant, as well as heavy quark masses (charm, bottom and top). To that end I use Soft Collinear Effective Theory, Heavy Quark Effective Theory, and non-relativistic QCD. Past research interests include determination of weak mixing angles and the dynamics of hadrons al low energies.
