David Alonso González (IFT) will present 'Axions and light exotic particles in from supernovas' (based on "Bounds on exotic-particle interactions from SN1987A" (Phys. Rev. Lett. 60, 1793), "Axions and SN 1987A" (Phys. Rev. D 39, 1020) and "Emission and detectability of hadronic axions from SN 1987A" (Phys. Rev. Lett. 65, 960))
Abstract:
The production of axions and other exotic light particles, such as right-handed neutrinos, in supernovas is studied. Using results from SN 1987A, new bounds for couplings, decay constants and masses are derived.
