We propose a quantitative theory of the β-rays emission in which we assume the existence of "neutrinos", treating the emission of electrons and neutrinos from a nucleus during the β-decay with a method similar to the emission of a light quanta from an excited atom. We describe the mean life and the continuous spectrum of the β-rays and we compare them with experimental data.
