Four 3-year PhD positions of HIDDeN ITN are open for application, with starting dates during 2021 and no later than October 1st, 2021.
The deadline for applications is March 10, 2021 but the positions can be offered any time earlier if suitable candidates appear. Conversely, applications may be accepted after this deadline if not yet then filled.
All applications must be submitted exclusively via the network portal http://hiddeneu.eu/jobs
Three of the positions are intended to carry research in particle theory and phenomenology and/or astroparticle physics including e.g. neutrino, dark matter, axions, dark energy, or BSM physics in general, and will be hired by one of the following European beneficiaries of the network: Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare - Sezione di Padova (INFN, Italy), Univ. Autónoma de Madrid (UAM, Spain) and Univ. of Barcelona (UB, Spain).
One PhD position in experimental physics is open to work at the University of Zurich (UZH, Switzerland) on the analysis of XENONnT data and R&D studies for DARWIN.
All nodes, e.g. beneficiaries and partner organisations, will contribute to the training, and the research effort will focus on collaborations throughout the network. The positions include at least a long secondment in another European beneficiary, plus shorter stays in our partner organisations: at least at one major world laboratory and at one of our private sector partners.
