There are 300 training fellowships announced for research stays at CSIC centers for seven consecutive months, wich 90 of them are related to Sciences.

A call for the JAE INTRO 2022 Introduction to Research Fellowship program has been published by the CSIC. The program is aimed at students in the last year of a university degree or master's degree, with the aim of starting a scientific career and promoting an approach to knowledge of current scientific-technical problems and the methods used to solve them.

El CSIC ha publicado la convocatoria del programa de Becas de Introducción a la investigación para estudiantes universitarios JAE INTRO 2022.

En total, se han convocado 300 becas de formación para realizar estancias de investigación en centros del CSIC de una duración de 7 meses consecutivos, de las cuales 90 se conceden en el Área Global de Materia, en la cual se ubica el campo de la física. La cuantía total de la beca asciende a 4.200€.

El Instituto de Física Teórica IFT-UAM/CSIC ofrece hasta 5 becas Jae-Intro para introducción a la investigación, dirigidas a estudiantes de máster 2022-23.

Como institution comprometida con la igualdad de genero y la diversidad, el IFT anima especialmente las solicitudes por parte de personas procedentes de colectivos desfavorecidos y tradicionalmente menos representados.

Duración: del 1 de noviembre de 2022 al 31 de marzo de 2023.

Dotación: 600 € al mes

There is a new opening for PhD positions at IFT, funded by the Severo Ochoa Excellence Center grant.

Candidates are expected to carry out a PhD in one of the strategic IFT research lines, which include particle phenomenology, astroparticle physics, nuclear theory, string theory, gravitation and cosmology, lattice and quantum field theory, and quantum information theory. They should have an excellent academic track record, and are expected to hold an academic degree that grants access to a PhD program at the time of formalisation of the contract, like an MSc or equivalent. 

The positions will start in the fall 2022 and will cover a three-year period. They include a competitive salary and a full health insurance. Selected candidates will participate in group grants, which provide additional funds for scientific visits, attendance to advanced schools and workshops, and other training activities.

The call for FPU PhD positions form the Spanish Ministry of Universities is now open. The fellowships will cover a four-year period, with conditions as specified in the Ministry call. The Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) in Madrid is offering PhD positions for talented Early Stage Researchers within the framework of the "la Caixa" doctoral INPhINIT fellowships, in the fields of Particle Physics, Astroparticles and Cosmology
